We are Kim & Travis. Our Journey with Scentsy began in November of 2007, when Kim started her business. Although Kim received emails about Scentsy from her previous sponsor from another direct selling company, she always deleted them before looking at them.
In November, Kim began talking to her sister-in-law almost every day about Scentsy. After a few exciting conversations, Kim realized her sister-in-law was interested in buying Scentsy products for her home. Kim realized by selling to her sister-in-law alone, she could at least earn back the cost of the starter kit. Kim called her pervious sponsor and signed up to be a Scentsy consultant.
Almost two years later, in 2009, Travis attended the annual Scentsy convention where he also fell in love with the company. At that point, Travis was added to the account and we are now a husband and wife team.
Since joining Scentsy, Kim has been able to be a stay at home mom and take care of our kids. Because of the income that Scentsy provides, our four children are able to participate in extracurricular activities. Kim is able to taxi the children to and from those activities because of the flexibility Scentsy provides.
2014 proved to be a stressful year for us. Travis was unemployed for a period of time and our Scentsy business helped replace some of the loss of income. During that same year, Kim started having some numbness and severe migraines. This pain would often put Kim in bed for weeks at a time. She was eventually diagnosed with Chiari Malformation. Throughout this difficult time she was still able to help provide for her family by managing the Scentsy business.
We love being Scentsy consultants and sharing these amazing products. We also feel blessed to be a part of a huge family, and our customers have become more than just customers. We love the relationships we have built because of our association with Scentsy. We believe that Scentsy could be a blessing in your life as it has been in ours and we would love to have you on our team.
